First night in Bordeaux. Had a lovely meal Le Confidentiel. It was conveniently close to where we were staying in Chartrons.

The food was delicious - fresh and great quality.  Lovely service too - super friendly and helpful.  We enjoyed so much that we went back again for lunch the next day.

Although a one-man show, this little place rocks with fantastic food and a very enthusiastic and food&mdash;loving owner / chef / server.Highly recommend for adults only, with a little patience obviously.

The waitress was 100% efficient. The meal was good and the playlist awesome!

We selected a few items to share and enjoyed sampling a selection of wines from with our food. A good night and the staff were very friendly, helpful and the food delicious. A large selection of wines.  Recommend.

The ingredients, of a freshness, are assembled in a healthy and balanced menu that enjoys papillae. But what makes the experience really unique is the owner, whose warm smile and obvious love for his profession transpare in each carefully prepared dish. This is an address to not miss for the lovers of good kitchen made with passion.

This was such an excellent and memorable experience for me . The food was superb and the service was stellar! I would go back in a heartbeat. It really is a gem and one of the best in Bordeaux!

Food was especially great. We had the cochon which was absolutely tender inside yet so crispy on the outside. The waiter was very attentive to our needs and it was certainly a pleasure. His wine recommendation was on point!

Love this restaurant and have dined here many times before. It never fails to be so typically French with wonderful food and great atmosphere.  We come back to Bordeaux just to enjoy it here.

We wanted a great steak restaurant in Bordeaux and we definitely not disappointed! The steak (and all sides etc) was incredible, the staff were friendly and the atmosphere great! It is not a big place, but clearly popular, so be sure to reserve a table.

Great local restaurant around the corner from our stay. Food was good and staff friendly.
